Good Tourney Support

Good Tourney has two separately purchased products. Choose the product you use so the instructions and billing information match.

## Good Tourney Apple Suite

Native billiards-tournament apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple TV.

– **Price:** $20/month or $200/year (save $40 annually)
– **Billing:** Apple App Store
– **Free trial:** None
– **Family Sharing:** Not available
– **Data:** Offline-first with private iCloud synchronization across the user’s Apple devices
– **Apple TV:** Read-only venue display

### Purchase, restore, or manage a subscription

Open **Good Tourney → Settings → Subscription** to purchase, restore purchases, redeem an offer code, or open Apple’s subscription-management screen. Use the same App Store Apple Account on participating devices. Purchasing the Apple Suite does not include or cancel Good Tourney Web.

– [View or cancel an Apple subscription](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428)
– [Request a refund from Apple](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118223)

An active subscription is required to create, edit, or operate real tournaments. Existing local results remain available read-only when subscription access is unavailable. The app also provides a read-only sample active tournament using fake data so the interface can be evaluated without a subscription.

If a previously verified subscription cannot be checked while offline, Good Tourney may honor the last verified active entitlement for up to seven days. Reconnect the device to verify access. A tournament already in progress may be completed rather than intentionally interrupted solely because entitlement changes.

### Existing web-customer offer

Customers who had an active paid Good Tourney Web subscription on **August 14, 2026** may receive one offer code for the first Apple annual term at **$100**, 50% off the standard $200 annual price. Later renewals use the standard App Store price unless canceled.

The code must be redeemed within 90 days after launch and expires **November 12, 2026**. Contact `Admin@goodtourney.com` from the email associated with the web purchase and include proof of the active subscription. Do not include a password or payment-card details.

### Sync and handoff checklist

1. Install the same current Good Tourney build on each device.
2. Confirm each device uses the intended iCloud account and has iCloud Drive enabled.
3. Keep Good Tourney open briefly on companion devices so they appear as recently active.
4. Confirm the active tournament identifies exactly one **Editor**. Other devices should be **Viewers**.
5. Let the Editor finish uploading before handing off, switching devices, or powering it down.
6. If a device reports that sync needs attention, keep it open and choose **Retry Cloud Sync**. Avoid editing from several devices while recovery is in progress.
7. Use **Take Over** only when the prior editor is unavailable and the receiving device shows the latest verified tournament.

If the problem persists, open **Settings → Tournament Editors & Device Sync** and share the privacy-redacted problem report. It excludes player names, Fargo details, tournament names, results, and payout content.

### Apple TV venue display

The Apple TV app shows live tournaments but cannot record a result. Use the **Tournaments** button when more than one live tournament is available. If a tournament is missing, confirm the director device uploaded it, then choose **Rescan iCloud** on Apple TV and keep the app open during the download.

### FargoRate lookup and result submission

Good Tourney can copy a player’s name and open the public FairMatch search, or create a Fargo-compatible singles results file and compose an email. The user must paste or search, verify identities, review results, and send the email. Good Tourney is independent from FargoRate and does not perform an automated background lookup.

### Imports and exports

The Apple Suite supports user-initiated tournament exports and legacy `.xls` player-name import. Review imported names before saving. Imports standardize capitalization and skip obvious duplicate names, but the director remains responsible for resolving people with similar or identical names.

## Good Tourney Web for existing customers

The original web app remains available to existing subscribers at $10/month or $100/year. New public web signups close on August 14, 2026.

– The Apple Suite launch does not shut down Good Tourney Web.
– Active existing subscribers keep access and may continue normal recurring renewals while their subscription remains active.
– Web and Apple subscriptions are separate.
– Web data does not automatically move into the Apple Suite.
– Buying the Apple Suite does not cancel web billing.
– Existing web login, account, billing, cancellation, and support remain available.
– No web shutdown date is announced. The current plan is to keep Good Tourney Web operational until a comparable future web experience and a separately communicated transition plan are ready.

To cancel the web subscription, sign in and open **Dashboard → My Memberships**. For web account or billing assistance, email `Admin@goodtourney.com`.
