Good Tourney Privacy Policy

## 1. Products covered by this policy

Good Tourney offers two separately purchased products:

– **Good Tourney Apple Suite:** native billiards-tournament apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and the read-only Apple TV venue display.
– **Good Tourney Web:** the original browser-based application, which remains available to active existing subscribers after new public web signups close.

The products do not share a subscription or automatically transfer accounts or tournament data between one another.

## 2. Information processed by the Apple Suite

The Apple Suite may process information a tournament director enters, imports, or generates, including:

– player names and optional Fargo ratings or identifiers;
– tournament names, rules, tables, queues, teams, match results, placements, and history;
– optional payment-status, side-pot, prize, and payout records;
– app preferences, subscription entitlement, and device-sync state; and
– a privacy-redacted diagnostic report only when a user deliberately chooses to share one with support.

The Apple Suite does not require a separate Good Tourney account. App Store purchases are associated with the user’s Apple Account and verified using Apple’s services.

## 3. Apple Suite storage and synchronization

The Apple Suite is offline-first. Tournament and player information is stored on the user’s devices. When iCloud is enabled and available, it is also stored in the user’s private iCloud database so it can synchronize across their Apple devices. Good Tourney does not operate a separate tournament-data backend for the Apple Suite.

The Apple TV app is a read-only venue display. It downloads a local display copy of live tournament information from the same private iCloud environment and cannot edit tournament results.

## 4. Information processed by Good Tourney Web

Good Tourney Web may process information needed to provide the separately purchased web service, including account and contact information, tournament and player information, subscription status, billing-related records, support communications, security logs, device and browser information, and website usage information.

The web service is hosted through GoDaddy. Web subscription payments are processed through PayPal. Email is provided through cPanel-hosted email accounts, and the website currently uses Google Analytics. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and terms. Good Tourney does not receive a customer’s complete payment-card credentials from PayPal.

Good Tourney Web information is not automatically transferred into the Apple Suite.

## 5. How information is used

We use information as reasonably necessary to:

– create, operate, recover, synchronize, and display billiards tournaments;
– provide accounts and access to Good Tourney Web;
– generate standings, player history, dashboards, and user-requested exports;
– display payment and payout records entered by a tournament director;
– verify subscription access and restore purchases;
– process and document support, billing, privacy, and security requests;
– protect the products, users, and our rights; and
– understand website use and improve Good Tourney Web through Google Analytics.

The Apple Suite does not use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking SDKs at launch. Good Tourney does not sell or rent personal information.

## 6. User-directed imports, exports, and FargoRate

Imports and exports occur at the user’s direction. A tournament director may choose to import player names, create PDF, CSV, JSON, or Fargo-compatible results files, open the public FargoRate or FairMatch website, copy a player’s name for a manual lookup, or compose an email to FargoRate support. These actions disclose information only when the user chooses to save, paste, or send it.

Good Tourney is independent from FargoRate and does not claim affiliation, endorsement, or automated access to FargoRate systems. The Apple Suite does not scrape FargoRate or perform background player lookups.

## 7. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to service providers that support the applicable product, including:

– Apple for app distribution, StoreKit purchases, iCloud storage, and synchronization;
– GoDaddy for Good Tourney Web hosting;
– PayPal for Good Tourney Web subscription billing;
– cPanel-hosted email services for communications; and
– Google Analytics for Good Tourney Web usage analytics.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale subject to appropriate protections.

We do not receive the contents of a user’s private iCloud tournament database merely because they use the Apple Suite.

## 8. Retention and deletion

Apple Suite tournament and player information remains on the user’s devices and, when enabled, in their private iCloud database until the user deletes it, removes associated app or iCloud data, or manages it through Apple settings. User-created exports remain wherever the user saved or sent them.

Good Tourney Web account, tournament, billing, support, security, and analytics records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Service providers may maintain records under their own retention practices.

Support emails and voluntarily submitted diagnostic reports are retained only as reasonably necessary to address the request, maintain appropriate support and security records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

## 9. Cookies and analytics

Good Tourney Web may use cookies and similar technologies required for sign-in, account operation, security, preferences, and analytics. Google Analytics may collect information about website interactions and the device or browser used to access the site. Browser controls and available Google settings may be used to limit some cookies or analytics, although disabling required cookies may affect web-app operation.

The Apple Suite does not use Google Analytics.

## 10. Choices and privacy rights

Users may:

– manage iCloud through Apple settings;
– manage or cancel an Apple subscription through the App Store;
– delete records using available app controls;
– cancel an active Good Tourney Web subscription through **Dashboard → My Memberships**;
– use applicable browser or Google controls for analytics; and
– contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights that apply in their location.

Because Skinny Bob Studio does not possess a separate server copy of a user’s private Apple Suite iCloud database, some Apple Suite data must be managed by the user through their Apple devices and iCloud settings. We may need to verify a requester’s identity before acting on a privacy request.

## 11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and platform safeguards designed to protect information appropriate to each product. No storage or transmission system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their devices, Apple Account, web credentials, exports, email, and venue information.

## 12. Children

Good Tourney is designed for tournament directors and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Tournament directors are responsible for obtaining any consent or other lawful basis needed before entering participant information, including information about minors.

## 13. International use

Skinny Bob Studio is based in Nevada, United States. Users who access Good Tourney from another jurisdiction understand that information may be processed in the United States and in locations where the applicable service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

## 14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The revised policy will identify its effective date, and material changes will be communicated as required by law.
